Turns out that the contents of the archive are listed only if the archive is on the top level of the directory. If the lzx file resides within a subdirectory then the listing window opens up empty.
Such is not the case with lha archives.
So, that means I just need to copy things over to the surface. Has nothing to do with Dopus.
